Let us be your geeks while you run your business.

Focus on your organization's needs, not on building a website.

SmallSite is the Saddle Rock Solutions approach to creating websites for small business, churches, and schools. Our founders needed to create visually appealing, easy to update, and expandable websites for several small organizations in Colorado and New Mexico.  They created SmallSites based on the process of creating those websites.

SmallSite Packages Include

  • Design and Creation of Your Site
  • Hosting and Domain Registration for 2 years
  • Marketing Materials and Forum Access

SmallSite Package Prices

  • Small Business Packages start at $799.
  • School Packages Start at $499.
  • Church Packages start at $199.

The complexity and requirements for your site will determine your final package price.

On-going support is not included in the SmallSite packages.  SmallSites are designed in such a way that nearly anyone can maintain a SmallSite on their own.  Please see the support section below for more details.

The SmallSite Approach

Step 1: Gather Your Requirements

Determining what you need before you build it is crucial. Our goal is to create a site that meets your needs. Your first step in creating your SmallSite is filling out a simple questionnaire about your organization and what you need your website to do for you.  This will determine which web features SRS will implement for your site, like photo galleries, product catalogs, newsletters, streaming video and/or audio, and email systems.

We also gather the images and text you want for your site during this part of the design phase. Without your images and what you want your site to say, it's impossible to build your site.

The requirements and complexity of your website will determine your final SmallSite package price.

Step 2: Select Your Visual Design

You may just have a very specific idea of what you want your site to look like, or your ideas may be more general (an artsy feel, earthtones only, or a high-tech look).  Saddlerock Solutions uses  professionally designed visual theme templates that give your site a clean, consitent experience for your website visitors.

Step 3: Build, Approve, then Go Live!

After we have defined your requirements and collected your images and text, and you have selected your visual theme, then we begin construct your website.

  • It typically takes about two weeks to build your site and have it ready for your review and approval.

Saddlerock Solutions will create a base version of your website on our demo server for your approval.  Once you approve your "demo" site, we will move your website from our demo server to your own domain server (www.yourbusinessname.com) and your site will be available to anyone on the world wide web.

  • It typically takes about a week to transfer your website from our demo server to your server.

Step 4: Market Your Site

Building the world's best website is useless if nobody knows it is there.  Your SmallSite package includes several web-based marketing tools and strategies and access to a user forum where other SmallSite customers share their web-marketing ideas.

Support

SmallSites are created and designed in such a way that nearly anyone can maintain their SmallSite by themselves.  Once your SmallSite has been built to suit your needs based on your requirements, we hand the keys to your website over to you.  You will have the power and ability to expand and customize your site on your own at your own pace.

We will provide you with documentation and a online forum where you can learn from other SmallSite users and members of the Saddlerock Solutions design team.  That type of support works great for some clients that like to tinker with their sites, but some clients don't want to handle their web issues - they are focused on running their business!  For those customers, Saddlerock Solutions can handle your ongoing site maintenance at the rate of $25 per hour. Arrangements can be made with the Saddlerock Solutions design team.
